Wisconsin State Capitol
Free Admission. Hours: Monday - Friday: 8am - 6pm, Weekends and Holidays: 8am - 4pm Self guided tours for 10 or less in a group. Check website for more info on guided tours. A sixth floor museum and observation deck are also open in summer.
Memorial Union Terrace
Stroll through the halls of the memorial union to then find your self outside on the ever-expanding terrace overlooking Lake Mendota. The terrace is a great spot for any size group to enjoy local brewery beers in signature pitchers while listening to live music.
Dane County Farmers Market
One of the best farmers markets in the country. Make sure to pick up a loaf of beer cheese bread!
Henry Vilas Zoo
FREE Admission. Open daily from 9:30-5pm
Madison Museum of Contemporary Art
FREE admission (most days). Make sure not to miss this museum's amazing exhibits and works of art. Take the clear stairway to the galleries. Take the elevator to the top to checkout the rooftop cafe, installations and view of the city.
Madison Children's Museum
Really cool place for kids and adults alike. $8 admission for each person. Hours: Tues-Sun 9:30am-5pm
Wisconsin Veterans Museum
FREE Admission. Tuesday through Saturday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Sunday (April-September) 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
National Mustard Museum
Hours: 10am-5pm, National Mustard Day is August 4, 2018...yes the day of our wedding :)
