We met by fate! Okay, okay, corny. We met at our house! I was helping a mutual friend/one of Jake's housemates at the time and we met when I came by the house. After that I just had to make it a point to find my way over to the house again and Jake managed to slip his number in my pocket before I left : ). Our first date consisted of him making me dinner and me feeling terrible because I had already eaten and by no means thought a guy would cook for me on our first date. I immediately fell in love with Rylee and Jones and when Jake volunteered to watch Minnie and Ceaser and they didn't run him off I knew he had to be the one!

Poor Jake had to find a way to surprise the nosiest person ever. Figuring that this task was probably impossible but knowing that I wanted to be surprised Jake had the brilliant idea to slip the ring on my finger in my sleep. I definitely didn't see it coming and of course was extremely surprised and excited when I woke up. Yes, he still officially asked me, and obviously I said yes!
