Our Story
Before we met, our lives had already crossed paths. We were both drawn to the natural world and chose to attend Humboldt State University, surrounded by the redwoods of Northern California. Even earlier, we lived in neighboring towns and attended the same community college simultaneously, without realizing how close we were to meeting.
Thanks to our wonderful friend, Fallon, our paths finally crossed in 2017. From our very first date, being together felt easy and natural.
Our relationship has never followed a traditional path, and that has been part of what we love most. After graduating, we took on new chapters that included obtaining a Master's degree, career changes, and moves across the country. Along the way, we found our home in Durham, North Carolina, where we continue to pursue our passions and build a life together.
Since then, we have bought our first home, welcomed our sweet dog, Suki, and are now excited to be planning our wedding and honeymoon.
