Liv and Kayleigh have been best friends since that fateful day on the airplane seesaw at Kaleidoscope, circa~2000. Liv was always the generous, musical and sweet one. The duo lived together for 2 years in good ol Salt City (Syracuse) where they cooked together and bickered like an old married couple day in and day out. She currently works as an Attorney in the Finger Lakes and she is the absolute best. Fun Fact for Liv: She is responsible for the infamous case of Lynx v. Tuvok that is currently getting published in the 2023 Edition of Law of Torts, by Shulman, James, Gray, and Gifford
Alex Johnson
Best Man
Brother of the groom, few can say they've known Derek longer. Even fewer can say they've bathed with the husband-to-be. This man is a naturalist, a kind soul, and an avid hammock hanger. Alex now lives in Buffalo with his fiance Nikita (marrying in one year's time), where they run a pop-up cat hospital. You couldn't ask for much more in a brother. Fun fact about Alex: He is still looking for the keys to the invisible boat mobile.
Tenny Zhang

Tenny and Kayleigh were a force to be reckoned with from the beginning and have been inseparable since high school. Tenny currently works in finance in the Big Apple, but we don't hold that against her. She is the most stylish, energetic, and zealous person you'll ever meet. Fun Fact about Tenny: She lives a double life as a Scene Kid and constantly listens to Falling in Reverse and Attack! So hXc.
Chris Mostek

Chris is best known as the bassist for the band Birdass/Subguest, but outside of the limelight, he pasteurizes milk for a living and can play a mean Irish jig. He and Derek were roommates for 3 years in Buffalo and he is single-handedly responsible for Derek's exceptional taste in music (sea shanties being the most acclaimed). A friend cannot be much more loyal and dedicated, even if he names the bride a frog lady (in the most endearing way). Fun fact about Chris: He can play the mandolin with two beers in his hands.
Caroline Carr

Caroline and Kayleigh met one fateful day in college and have never looked back. Caroline is a loyal and hilarious friend, who is always down for a dinner party--for which she will undoubtedly bring a form of slow-cooked meat. She currently works at Northeastern University for Alumni Relations. Fun fact for Caroline: she has upwards of 396 jars of various sauces, gravies, and bechamels in her pantry at any one time
Sidar

A karaoke talent worthy of American reality TV, Sidar grew up in Turkey and met Derek while he was an exchange student there. According to Sidar, it was the only exciting thing to happen in Turkey in 2016. Now Sidar resides in NYC where he lives in fear of Derek's cat. Fun fact about Sidar - He once caught Kirt Hammett's (of Metallica) guitar pick in his teeth at a show.
Alex Roman Peters

Alex and Kayleigh started their friendship on the first day of college. She is an incredible and supportive friend, till the end! She lives in NYC working at NBC (30 ROCK WAHOO) as associate of talent management and negotiations! Alex and Kayleigh share a love of thrift shopping and collecting vinyls. Oh, and of course snow tubing. Alex's fun fact: If Alex finds out you don't like Bernadette Peters, then you are dead to her.
Matthew McDermott

Hailing from Minnesota, Matt balances the crew with his Midwestern charm and kindness. Interact with him and he will likely offer you a tater tot hot dish or something... Matt works with Derek in Boston and was helpful in maintaining his sanity through the dark days of the pandemic (great guy but don't ask him to carry the team in trivia). Fun fact about Matt: He has never defeated Derek in a game of Cribbage.
Emily Mcdonald

Emily is Kayleigh's best pal/bridal twin as she is getting married 10/9/22! Give her a big congrats when you see her! Emily is the coolest registered nurse you will ever meet and she is getting her Nurse Practitioner licensure in Psychiatry. What an accomplished and amazing friend. Fun Fact for Emily: She'll break your pinky finger for a sweet cracker.
Zack Chabot

Zach is a New Hampshire live free'er and can be spotted scooting around Portsmouth on his scooter bike. He is a devout mountaineer and owns an item of corduroy clothing for every 4000 footer (48). Zack recklessly offered Derek housing during his job interview in Boston and has regretted it ever since. Fun fact about Zack: He had never tucked in his shirt in his life.
Sumbal Zaman

Sumbal and Kayleigh met in Buffalo, NY in 2015. Sumbal was always a source of comfort and excitement whenever Kayleigh visited the UB crew. Their friendship continued to blossom over the years, with multiple camping trips, movie nights, and that fateful night where Sumbal got the crew kicked out of the comedy club. She currently works as a Cooling (Refrigeration) Engineer at Whirlpool in Michigan. A Fun Fact for Sumbal: She has been a guest star on Dark Tourist 3 times
Mehmet Feta
Groomsman
Mehmet was a random roommate who moved in with Chris and Derek after college. Lucky for them, he turned out to be a pretty cool dude and not a psychopath. He currently lives in South Carolina, where he aspires to be a rickshaw runner. You can likely find Mehmet at your local Checkers getting a 2 for 4 meal. Fun fact about Mehmet: He holds the record for the longest tail light ticket issued by the state of New York.
Nikita Caratelli

Keet and Kay met at a Buffalo Halloween party way back in 2017 and have led lovely paralleled lives ever since! They share a brain in many ways-- both in love with Johnson Boys, both work in medicine, love thrifting and hiking, and even almost chose the same exact wedding dress! Kayleigh is grateful for Nikita as a sister-to-be. Nikita currently works as an RN in Buffalo in Labor and Delivery., babies! yay! Keet's Fun Fact: she rips her pants on every single hike she goes on--as a rite of passage. The hike was not completed until the pants have been torn.
Kyle Mclaughlin

Kyle is another groomsman of blood relation to Derek. Living in the DMV, Kyle is a middle school science teacher who can cook a MEAN beef welly (among other things). Derek and Kyle have a lifelong racquet sports rivalry; don't bring a badminton set to the wedding. Fun fact about Kyle: He is the preferred chef of Oprah.
David Lobo

David carried Kayleigh through the second year of PA school, for which she is eternally grateful. David and Kayleigh became immediate best friends when David agreed to be her roommate in 2018. He is so very intelligent, fun, and creative. David gets along with everyone and loves to make his friends feel special. He works as an Interventional Pulmonology Physician Assistant at Mount Sinai in NYC. David's Fun Fact: He prefers to nap like a corpse, full with a bouquet of gardenias clasped in hand.
