FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to feel comfortable! So if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. Our wedding is during early spring, which we all know can be warm during the sunlight and cool in the evenings, so please plan accordingly (especially if you go on a boat ride). There are heaters to the Reception area.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We addressed the invitations to our most favorite individuals in our lives, past & present. If you received a plus one, you will see the option to RSVP for a guest of your choosing on our website. Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited and registered on your RSVP.

Question

Will Specialty Diet options be available at dinner?

Answer

Our meal has been selected around Wolf Lakes amazing menu choices. Unfortunately, to accommodate the large majority of our guests, there are no specialty diet options available. Dinner will be served buffet style, so we hope that you can find desired selections to fit your needs.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! If you scroll over to the "Travel" tab on our website, we have attached a link to a recommended hotel close to our venue!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we've hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives, and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for him to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want! And we promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

If we love you, we love your children. Please know that this venue is surrounded by a lake and can be dark on the grounds in the evening, therefore please keep a close eye on your child as their safety is important to us.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and seated so we can get the party started as scheduled!

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
