FAQs

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! Children are absolutely welcome to join the celebration. Please note that there will likely not be separate seats available for babies or young toddlers. If your kiddos aren't named, we’d still love to have them, just expect them to be 'on the move' or cozying up with you! Please reach out if you have any questions!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be outdoors?

Answer

A bit of both! We’ll be exchanging vows, enjoying cocktail hour, and enjoying dinner in the fresh air outdoors, then heading inside for dancing. September in Menlo Park is beautiful, with average highs around 77°F, but it can get breezy and temperatures often dip to about 58°F after the sun goes down. We recommend bringing a light layer to stay comfortable during the outdoor portions of the evening.

Question

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

We’d love to host the whole world, but our venue’s walls (and our budget!) have their limits. Unless your invitation is specifically addressed to you 'and Guest,' we’ve cleared a spot just for you. We promise the people we did invite are a total blast; you’re in great company!

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We’re going fully unplugged! We’ve hired a photographer who is basically a wizard with a lens, and we’d love for him to capture your faces rather than the backs of your phones. We promise to share the professional shots later, so please tuck the devices away and just be in the moment with us. We’ve got the 'paparazzi' covered!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Good news: you won't need to scout for a spot! We have dedicated parking right at the venue. If that happens to fill up, there is plenty of additional parking on the surrounding streets. We recommend arriving a few minutes early to snag a prime spot and stroll to the ceremony.
