Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Kayleen Roach and Cody Yates
There are so many wonderful things to experience at the North Rim. Hiking shoes or comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended! When you enter the park please be cautious of deer, cattle, and Bison! If you see Bison please do NOT stop your vehicle. They have a history of charging vehicles. Slow down to take pictures, but PLEASE don't be the person who stops and gets out! Even if you see other tourists doing it. It is not safe and they are fast!
California Condor

California Condor

The Navajo Bridge will be along the way to the North Rim for many of you. It is one of the best spots to spot a California Condor. They were nearly extinct but carefully brought back and are once again breeding in the wild. Their home is the canyon walls.

Kayleen grew up playing with the Ranchers who run the Mules over the summer. Their family has been doing this for over 20 years. Mules are what have been used since 1920 to explore the canyon. Theador Rosevelt even rode one into it! If you have the time we really recommend this experience!

Harveys Meadow

Harveys Meadow

Our favorite spot in the park. This is where Cody proposed to Kayleen. We recommend checking out the old cave cabin and climbing the rocks. Let your inner child out to play in this beautiful meadow.

Transit Trail

Transit Trail

Hike along the canyon edge with many scenic views. Please be careful there are many spots with no railings.

Moon Room

Moon Room

Transit Trail will bring you to the stairs to this room. It is underneath the Lodge.

Angels Window

Angels Window

This is right across from where the wedding will be taking place! There are many viewing points along this short trail.
