Please plan to arrive at the venue by 2:30pm to allow time for seating. Ceremony will begin at 3pm.
We are requesting guests follow a semi-formal dress code - which basically means "nice dresswear, but don't make yourself uncomfortable". It will likely be quite hot outside by Washington standards, so dress accordingly.
We've booked a catered taco bar for our post-ceremony meal. Gluten free and vegan options will be available.
In an attempt to keep our guest list and budget under control, we ask that you refrain from bringing along people that we did not account for.
Our venue is a little garden which sits next to a historical barn. Both the ceremony and reception will take place on the lawn. There is a covered concrete pad that will be used for dinner, and indoor restrooms.
As we've been settled in our home for a few years now, we didn't feel the need to create a registry for ourselves. If you do feel compelled to provide us with a wedding gift, we would enjoy something small and sentimental, or a contribution to our honeymoon fund. But no pressure! We are happy just to be sharing our day with you.
Our theme is Botanical/Gothic!
Okay, no one will actually think to ask this. But as an FYI for anyone who read "small and sentimental" and thought they might buy a "Mr. and Mrs. Ortega" personalized gift, we've made the decision to hyphenate our last names. So it will be Mr. and Mrs. Quezada-Ortega, going forward.
