Fate brought us together when we both moved into the fourth floor of our dorm at Drexel! We quickly became friends and spent tons of time together. Kaylee confessed her feelings after a few months. We started dating on March 6, 2018, and the rest is history!
We were visiting friends in California and took a day trip to Disneyland. Kaylee was so excited to be in the happiest place on earth, and Kyle knew he wanted to make it even happier by proposing. He waited anxiously all day to find an isolated part of the park (a near-impossible feat). We wandered over to a gazebo near a small lake with no guests around. He popped the question and totally took Kaylee by surprise!
The ring is a family heirloom bequeathed to Kaylee from her paternal grandmom, Ann. Kaylee’s grandpap, Don, inherited the main “old miner” round diamond from his Aunt Anna and had it set in between two smaller round diamonds on a 14k yellow gold ring for his bride. Kaylee’s family passed this ring on to Kyle to propose to his future bride with.
