Looking back now, it feels like our lives were always meant to cross paths. We grew up only minutes from each other in Jacksonville, constantly just close enough to almost meet. Kaylee went to Fletcher while Bryce went to Sandalwood. Kaylee attended Abess while Bryce went to Alimacani. Around the same time Bryce moved out of his childhood neighborhood, Kaylee’s family moved in. Somehow, throughout so many different stages of life, we kept ending up connected without even realizing it yet. We officially met through mutual friends after a late night hangout that led to Snapchat conversations, FaceTime calls every night, and eventually a friendship that became the foundation of everything. Long before we started dating, we were best friends. We could spend hours talking about absolutely nothing, drive around Jacksonville listening to music, grab Taco Bell late at night, watch The Office together, or just enjoy being around each other. Even when life pulled us in different directions at times, we always found our way back to one another. Bryce always knew there was something special about Kaylee, and over time, what started as friendship slowly turned into something neither of us could ignore. In 2018, Bryce officially asked Kaylee to be his girlfriend with the help of her favorite game, Super Mario Galaxy, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Over the years, we’ve grown up side by side through every stage of life. From our first apartment together, to getting Jay, our dachshund, to moving into our first house, we’ve built a life centered around love, laughter, friendship, and supporting one another through everything. Some of our favorite memories have come from the simplest moments together, while others have come from the trips and adventures we’ve shared over the years. Everyone who knows us always jokes about how lucky Bryce is to have Kaylee, and honestly, they’re probably right. But beyond how beautiful she is, Kaylee has been Bryce’s biggest supporter, best friend, and the person who has pushed him to become a better man, partner, and entrepreneur. At the same time, Bryce has always made Kaylee feel safe, loved, and supported through every season of life. Together, we’ve grown into the people we are today, and we truly believe we’ve made each other better in every way. In November 2024, Bryce proposed to Kaylee at the Botanical Gardens in North Carolina during a trip Kaylee had unknowingly planned herself with a little help from Bryce and his best friend, Luke. After eight years together, saying yes felt easy. Through every season of life, we’ve continued to choose each other, grow together, and build a life we’re proud of, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people we love most.
