Above is the map of The Videre Estate, including where to park and where the events will be held. If you have trouble walking, please feel free to utilize the circle drive located at the front of the Videre Hall. We are working on getting transportation to and from the parking lot. If you have any questions other than what we have listed below, please reach out to us directly.

What is the Wedding Timeline?

Answer

Please arrive after 3:25, and before 3:55, as the Ceremony begings promptly at 4:00 on the deck. Cocktail hour will be held on the East deck. The Reception will take place in the Hall around 5:30. Our send-off is at 9:00.

What Should I Wear?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Cowboy cocktail attire. The road and parking lots are paved to accommodate heels. Cowboy hats and boots are permissible for men - hence the "cowboy" part of our attire.

Is there Uber/Lyft?

Answer

The Videre Estate is located on a little under 500 acres out west of Wimberley. Ride shares are not reliable, if present at all. You can schedule an Uber ahead, however it is not recommended. Please drink responsibly and plan your stay accordingly.

What can I expect when driving to the venue?

Answer

This is Texas, and the Hill Country at that. The deer still have not learned that cars are lethal. We suggest keeping your eyes on the road and being aware that deer crossing is unpredictable and a possibility.

Where Do I Park?

Answer

When you arrive at the entrance, follow the paved road to the assigned parking area. Use the circle-drive to drop off guests that have trouble walking a distance or up/down slight slopes. We are working on having golf-cart transportation to and from the parking lot.

What is an Unplugged Ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you DO NOT have your phones out during the Ceremony. However, for the reception, you are welcome to take pictures and videos as long as you are not interfering with our photographer or videographer.

Can I Bring My Child?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate all of our family and friends' children. While we love your little ones, we ask that this be an adults only affair. Please reference your RSVP for the number of seats we have saved for your party.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Yes, we do! Click the menu button to find "The Registry" page. Please note that we have registered with two places including monetary funds through Zola and household items through Dillard's.

Why did your date change?

Answer

Changing our venue and date was not a decision we made lightly, especially this late in the game. The Videre Estate fits our style perfectly and we think you will appreciate our decision as we had you in mind when making this switch. We fell in love with The Videre immediately, so we hope you all love it just as much as we do. However, they did not have May 10, 2025 available.

Why August 15th?

Answer

While our change of venue impacted this decision greatly, we think you all will appreciate why we chose this date in the future. We sincerely hope this change does not effect your presence but we can understand that it was unexpected and a tad short-notice. We hope you are still able to soak up the sun in the August heat with us!

But it's going to be hot!

Answer

We know!!! Bring a handheld fan and drink water! Our ceremony should be short and sweet, running at a predicted 30-minutes of sitting outside. Cocktail hour will be outdoors in a shaded area, under ceiling fans. The reception is located inside the hall where the A/C will be on.
