Please arrive no later than 3:30pm as the ceremony will begin at 4pm and we would hate for anyone to miss it!
Cocktail dress is always the way! Not too formal, not too casual. There is only one colour to pretty please avoid, for obvious reasons (I hope!), but if you haven't guessed yet, it is white. Please do not wear all white. Other than that, wear whatever colour you want!!!
Kids are absolutely welcome, if they are addressed on your invitation, so feel free to bring them. However, if you feel like a night off from your little people responsibilities, also feel free to leave them at home.
Unfortunately, we will not be allowing plus ones due to the limited space we have. We have invited the people most special to us and you will find these names addressed on the invitation you received. We hope you can understand our decision.
Please RSVP by Saturday the 17th of August. If we do not hear from you by this date, we will assume you have declined the invitation.
Canapés will be available before the reception begins, just outside the reception room. Once it hits 6pm, the reception doors will be open and this is where you will sit down for a 3-course meal (entree, main and dessert), which will be served alternately. Kids 12 and under will receive a more simpler main and dessert. What's a wedding without a basic drinks package??? Of course we have unlimited alcohol, BUT only for certain drinks. This still needs to be confirmed but it will be a specific beer, white wine and red wine as well as soft drink and juices. You are absolutely welcome to buy drinks throughout the night too.
When you RSVP, there will be a section to put in any dietary requirements you have. If this doesn't work for you, or you have other requests, please contact Kaylee or Wezley.
Our ceremony will most likely finish by 5pm, and our reception doesn't start until 6pm so there's about an hour of wondering what to do... Kaylee and Wezley will be preoccupied with their families getting way too many photos, so you won't see us until the reception begins. In the hour break, please feel free to grab a drink or have a chat with others at Ostani's which is just at the bottom of Hotel Realm, or if you have a room take the hour to rest up before the big night!! There are also a few other bars and sit down areas around Hotel Realm that can occupy you for a bit. Also, don’t forget there are canapés to snack on before the reception! When it hits 6pm, you can head up to the reception room that is in Hotel Realm and get ready for the party to begin!!
Our ceremony is about a 4 minute walk from our reception, so super easy. However, if you don't want to walk, we would suggest taking your own car because who wants to pay $8 for a 1-minute uber?!
If you aren't planning on dancing, please decline our invite. KIDDING! Dancing is never compulsory, just highly encouraged. We would love to see as many of you as we can out on the dance floor having fun with us on our first night as Mr & Mrs!!!!
We do not have a gift registry as we do not expect gifts, however will have a wishing well for those who wish to contribute.
