Bride
Eldest of 3 children to Lily & Lincoln, and mom to Kehlani Gale. A humble disciple and servant of the Lord, Kaylee enjoys camping, quality time with family and in her spare time enjoys planning mini vacations. Kaylee knew Sadai was "the one" when she saw him in an animal print vest dancing on his hinge profile. "This is probably my husband," soon turned into reality. Kaylee is an animal lover and her childhood dream job was to be a dolphin trainer at SeaWorld. Kaylee enjoys listening to audiobooks while working out and gets lost driving with the GPS on... Kaylee aspires to provide services to at-risk youths, open a softball facility and keep her house plants alive. Kaylee's favorite food is Ama & papa Frank's chicken and noodle, Portuguese bean soup and pani popo.
Groom
This man of God was swept off his feet and it was love at first uno loss. Sadai has a deep appreciation for jazz and house music, cinematography, korean bbq and his PS5. This golden retriever, intellectual man thrives on good conversation and has no problem making friends in the fast-food drive-thru. Sadai recently learned how to fish, surf and DJ the walkup songs for Gale's softball games. Sadai finds joy matching outfits with Kaylee and building up the next generation after God. Sadai is currently pursuing his Associates in Biblical Studies from Freedomhouse Bible College, and his Masters in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. Sadai is an avid ice skater and can do cartwheels better than most high school cheerleaders. Sadai can be heard referring to himself as, "the one whom Jesus loves."
Maid of Honor
Of course my little sister is my MOH! Kiani is literally the best sister a girl could ask for. Her mild-tempered, calm personality left me with zero issues growing up whatsoever. Though I probably traumatized her as her sister, and she often calls me a man, she's remained so kind, loving and considerate of others. She has such a graceful and gentle spirit that I aspire to have. She's never "snitched" on me and I appreciate that. I absolutely love the young woman she has grown into and am so proud to have her in my life. Love you kian kian! Fun fact: When Kiani was 9 years old she broke her arm trying on Heely's in a Big 5 sporting goods store
Matron of Honor
Introducing my "brother" in Christ, Jackie Taylor. I would not be the woman, mom or wife I am today without this woman's obedience to the Lord. I've known her pretty much my whole life, but God finessed us and intertwined us to build His kingdom together. Through her reverence for God's will and her loving correction (and a lot of patience), I was discipled to then make more disciples. She is my matron of honor because she has permission to know me and "no" me. Fun fact: Jackie is a homeschooling work from home mama of three! And I am TT to them all haha
Bridesmaid
Cee is my "brother" in Christ that is half hood half holy. I met her in the single mom's connect group through church and immediately knew she was supposed to be in my life (though she took well over a year to decide I passed the vibe check and could be her friend lol). Cee is a friend that feels like home and can correct you with love. I appreciate her healing hugs, big faith and courageous obedience to God (and also her pancakes). I am blessed to have someone like her in my life and cannot imagine celebrating without her. I truly cherish her friendship and her girls and it is forever Hermana Hood. Cee, you helped me become the woman I am today. Thank you for never judging me but always lovingly pushing me towards Jesus. Love you! Fun fact: Cee is a momma of a 15 and a 12 year old
Bridesmaid
My "Wheeler warrior sister!" I met Jamie in 2019 working in a residential group home for foster youth with the boys (Wheeler house) and we have been through some crazy times together. Hard times call for tough staff and she had my back and I had hers. Whether it was chasing awols or figuring out what we're cooking for lunch, Jamie was right there while also maintaining order in the spice cabinet lol the joy Jamie has helping others is very much Christ-like. She always seeks to see the best in others and believes in people even when they don't believe in themselves. Jamie is one of those friends that absolutely should be in your wedding! I love this girl and am so blessed she is in my life! She is one of the most intentional people you will ever meet and is one of my top safe spaces. Love you! Fun fact: Jamie has only been camping once and it was with me and my family!
Bridesmaid
Jen is my fiery Jesus friend! When I first met her in the Single Mom's Connect Group she was on FIRE and had a boldness that I highly admired and wanted some of that for myself. Jen is that friend you can hit up for accountability and if you want to do cross fit! Jen enjoys long walks in the sunshine and eating her cucumbers and Kangan water. This girl is a mighty disciple and woman of God and definitely someone you need in your life. Jen and her husband D have become some of our fav married friends. Some of my favorite memories include going to Bible college retreat together, Jen's baby shower, being at the courthouse as a witness when they married and having the honor of being present for the birth of their baby! Jen, I am honored to have you in my life and so proud of the way you surrender to God. Fun fact: She just started her first home garden and will be harvesting strawberries and cucumbers soon!
Bridesmaid
My beautiful cousin Nik has always been my big sister I never asked for, but always needed. We fought constantly, but I always looked up to her and honestly wanted to be just like her! She has seen me throughout my childhood and adolescent years and now we continue to stay solid throughout our adult years. I got all her hand-me-downs and now her kid gets my kid's hand-me-downs. She is always the life of the party and couldn't imagine my life without her. Nicole is fun, loud, violently competitive yet compassionate, and 100% down for her family. I am so proud of the mama and wife she's become and I know my namesake is too. Love you palaku! Fun fact: Nicole lived in Redding and when we'd visit during breaks and holidays we'd fight all the time. But when it was time to say bye we would cry lol
Bridesmaid
Ahh Bekah. Bekallini. Truly a one-of-a-kind person and I am just so blessed to be her friend. I met Bekah in 2018 working in a residential group home for foster kids and MAN what a trooper. I was impressed by her resilience but mostly, her stillness in chaotic moments and the ability to deescalate everyone, even me! lol She has a heart of GOLD and everyone needs a Bekah in their lives. She is kind, compassionate, generous and loves fiercely. What an amazing woman of God she is! When I think of Bekah I can't help but get emotional. Our roots run deep here and I'm grateful we get to do life together. Fun fact: Bekah works in the CHOC psych ward as a therapist!
Bridesmaid
Angie has become one of my best friends. We met in 2022 working at a residential facility and the first time I saw her she was reading her Bible at the kitchen table. I knew God answered my prayers to give me a sister in Christ to help bring down heaven in that house and over those kids! We are "two ends of a donkey" as the kids would say lol I am honored to have this kind soul in my life. I am constantly blown away by the accountability and transparency as she brings her whole self to Jesus. Cmon surrender! Love her and gotta have her here with me (: Fun fact: this is Angie's first time being a bridesmaid and she is stoked!
Bridesmaid
Amina is the groom's little sister. We did everything together growing up and having this wedding wouldn't feel right without her. Because she was the baby of the family, she seemed to be able to convince our parent to do anything for her. She was easy to be a big brother to because she loved both of her older siblings. We would do anything for her. She has been my little best friend and big inspiration in my life. From school projects to fit checks, she has always been in the background of her brother's success. We love you ming ming. I am so grateful (and nervous) that kaylee and her get along so well... almost to the point that both of them will team up and roast me. Fun fact: Amina is an adult arts and crafter and a dog mom to a French Bulldog, Deuce!
Bridesmaid
My little sister in Christ! I met Jasmin through the Single Mom's Connect Group when her mom came in 2019! I've gotten to see her grown up into a beautiful young woman of God and had the privilege of helping disciple her and raise her up. She reminds me a lot of myself, but what an obedient, God-fearing younger version would have looked like. I am so godly proud of her and honored to do life together. I know she always has my back, as I will always have hers. One of my favorite things about her is her big heart and that she is hilarioussss. I admire her excellence, honor and commitment and hope and pray all my daughters are like Jasmin. Love you boo! Fun fact: She has memory similar to Dory's (which we are praying about)
Bridesmaid
Cuzzo! Whit is my beautiful and fun-loving cousin that is a fellow ‘94! She has a tender heart and loves her family. She is resilient, protective and has an infectious laugh. I love the way she hypes up those around her and the boldness she lives with. Me and my sis been riding since diapers and we’ll keep the love forever. Love you bosslady !
Best Man
This man literally prayed me into existence. I appreciate that. We grew up at odds with each other but got really close as I got older. I couldn't imagine doing this day without him. He has been my brother for 28 years. I chose him for my best man because he is dependable, a good source of wisdom and an overall cool guy. \ Fun fact: he is probably the only man who can out-dance me.
Groomsman
T DADDY! I first met Tristain at UC Davis. We didn't like each other in Spanish class, but got close at a houseboat event. I wing manned for him, and he's been in my debt ever since. We became the dynamic duo, and I don't think my college experience would've been the same without him. He is my best friend and is a very big support system of mine. Fun fact: Tristain almost got in a fight to defend my honor.
Groomsman
The batman to my batman. I met Joey at Day Trip, we kept in contact over COVID and reunited two years later not missing a single beat. He's been nothing but a reliable friend that I feel had my best interest in mind. He is loyal to the soil and one of those friends you don't have to talk to every day but when you meet up the vibes are always there. Fun fact: he is a movie connoisseur and we both have La La Land in our top 5.
Groomsman
I met Kyle at a festival. He complimented my shirt, invited me to a Halloween party, and we've been the best of friends ever since. I get extra excited when I see my phone ring and it's Kyle. He has been a great friend, a great source of encouragement, and is this century's Mr. Rogers. God bless Kyle. Fun fact: Kyle can give you a hug without touching you hahaha
Groomsman
Pepe! I met Pepe in college and we became fraternity brothers. My favorite thing about him is he's always been there for me, especially during some of the hardest times in my life. He's a loyal friend and I am truly grateful for his friendship. Plus, we can always have a good discussion about anything and everything. Fun fact: he is the tallest in his village.
Groomsman
God bless this man. Yash is a good friend from college. One thing I love about Yash is that he has such high hopes and belief in you that you can't help but believe in yourself. His discipline and dedication to his community are admirable traits as compared to Malcom X. He is the kindest and sweetest person and it would be an honor to have him as my groomsman. Fun fact: he passed the bar exam on his first try on accident lol
Groomsman
My brotha from anotha motha. We grew up together and he's always been supportive of my accomplishments. He is one of my role models and is the one that motivated me to go to a UC college. My most fun memories with him were always laughing and joking around and prank calling relatives. Fun fact: he is fluent in Japanese and is considered a Japanese pop star! He's lived in Japan for about 8 years now.
Groomsman
Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. I met this guy on a Bible retreat, and he became my brother in Christ and my best friend. And our wives like each other. Shout out to our wives! HE is one of those friends where you have a deep conversation with him on accident. He's great to talk to. Fun fact: he can explain anything.
Groomsman
The dynamic duo since diaper days! He was over at my house so much you would've thought he lived there. As we grew up, our visits became less frequent, but our relationship remained strong. I think he knew he was going to be a groomsman before I did. when I think of Joey I think of longevity, best friend and life lessons. He always had my back and wasn't too cool for me (even if I was a nerd that liked anime). Fun fact: he is flying in from Africa just to be at my wedding <3
Groomsman
Kavika is the bride's little brother. He is the light of the family with his wierdness and goofiness and is the one that made Kaylee take on the "first born daughter" role (kiani was an easy sibling) lol. Vika would give the best foot massages, and is now passing on the torch to Sadai. Vika loves his blankey and singing and always has a good time. Vika, I am so lucky to have such an awesome little brother like you. -kaylee Fun fact: we went on a trip to Puerto Rico for our birthday and I got COVID but it was one of the best trips I've ever been on in my life! I was so spoiled and he sprained his ankle but it was awesome and well worth it lol
Groomsman
Z was actually a friend of Tristain's, and they both became like sons to me. I taught them everything they know. He is my Bulgarian barbarian. We bonded and he is the responsible one of our friend groups. I admire how he lives life to the fullest with his heart on his sleeve. We must protect him at all cost. Fun fact: he is a dual citizen and a very fluent dancer
