We met at our first job, the infamous Knotts Berry Farm! It was during the Halloween season, and we worked almost every Haunt shift together! We would arrive early just to walk in together, and take all of our breaks at the same time. On November 3, 2019, Rene asked me on a date to the movies. He insisted on paying but I wanted to be a girl boss and pay for myself, so I made him go to the dollar theater. The next day, November 4, 2019, I went to see Rene again! That day I asked him the loaded question, "what are we?" And he said "Would you like to be my girlfriend?" And we've been inseparable ever since!

On this day, Rene picked me up from work and took me to our favorite restaurant, Panama Joe's! I was surprised because my grandparents and his parents were there with us! Before our meals came out, I got up to use the restroom and when I came back all 5 of them were leaning in and whispering to each other. When I sat back down, they all quieted and soon Rene got down on a knee! In his speech he said, "I will love you in every universe" 🥺 When he asked the question, I said "YES!" and we were engaged ❤️ We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
