Every Christmas Eve, Noah and I go to two church services- one with my family and one with his. During our second church service of the night, we listened to a sermon that discussed God's signs. The pastor talked about how so often people search for signs that they are on the right path and connected that with stories like Moses' staff, Noah's rainbow, and of course, the angels and star that led the shepherds to Jesus. He then goes on to tell a story of how someone proposed during "Silent Night" the year prior. Little did I know that the guy sitting next to me had a ring in his jacket pocket. After the service, I thought Noah was going to drive me home. Instead, we went to downtown Franklin. We stood in front of the big Christmas tree, he said some sweet words, and I cried. Our families had been hiding, and they ran out to celebrate with us. It could not have been more perfect. I am so excited to marry this man!
