Steve
Officiant
Steve Jones (Neals's Uncle)- what a guy. Neal and Steve have always been exceptionally close. Since moving to Colorado, Neal has been a frequent flyer at the Jones household in Breck. From skiing to rafting, those two can adventure anywhere together. Kaylee was introduced to the Jones family early in their relationship and was quickly tossed on a skit lift, and soon enough, sending Black Diamonds at Breck. Well, "roughly" sending. Yard sale or not, she's always out there with a smile when everyone is skiing together. Steve has the warmest heart and a sarcastic tone that both Neal and Kaylee adore. They look up to him and Heather and are excited to continue the Colorado adventures together as a family.
Robyn
MC/DJ
I'm not sure 1500 characters is enough for Robyn (she would also agree). K + N wanted someone *extra* special to carry the show throughout the night, and they knew it would be Robyn. Robyn and Kaylee met through Cycology and became close after Robyn was hired to be a lead instructor. They're now nearly inseparable (s/o cyc crew) and track each other's location, often. Robyn is THE cheerleader- the "hype girl" we call her. She can turn a room from a get-together to a rager in the split of a song. Get ready for trash-talking (rated R after 9 PM.), party-rocking, and feet stomping. MC Robs, coming in hot!
Kesha
Maid of Honor
Oofda. K$. Kesha entered Kaylee's life when Kaylee was an 11-year-old middle schooler getting dropped off at the local baseball field to "hang out with boys". Kesh fulfilled the sister role (even though she's really an in-law) pretty quickly as Kaylee grew. Always the first person she called after every heartbreak or passed math test (if you know Kaylee, this makes sense). Even though they've only lived in the same state for two years, Kesh is always ready to receive a cold call from Kaylee on the second ring. Ryan and Kesha's marriage is high up on Kaylee and Neal's "goal" list. They continue to look up to them for guidance. Kesh, thanks for being the best role model to Kaylee.
Mindy
Bridesmaid
Oh, sweet Mindy. Kaylee and Mindys friendship ignited in college at Western Michigan when Mindy was graduating and Kaylee was a sophomore. They quickly shared their love over romcoms, greys anatomy, and breakfast for dinner. Endless bags of limes paired with endless bottles of cheap tequila. From MI to CO, they are forever each other's person.
Ann
Bridesmaid
The one and only- Ann Fenley (soon to be Harrison s/o). Kaylee met Ann through Cycology and befriended her immediately. They jumped into becoming roommates (822, miss you) and fell deeply in love with one another. After their year together ended, Ann moved up to Denver (booo) but still the hot toddies never get cold, and talks about their children (hi Dewey, hi Benji) never get dull. The best kinda friendship.
Jeff
Best Man
Jeffrey Richard Klena - JR Kleez. Jeff is one of Neal's oldest friends, and despite all of life's changes, they have stay closed for nearly two decades. Neal basically lived at Jeff's house during high school (thanks Mama and Papa Klena), and quickly learned that Jeff made some of the best BBQ north of the Mason-Dixon line. From hunting down bottles of rare Scotch to remote high altitude rescue missions, Jeff is the best man (pun very much intended) to have at your side.
Zack
Groomsman
Zack Horovitz, the coolest thing to come out of Ohio since the Wright Brothers. Neal first met Zack when they were bunkmates during their second summer of military training at West Point. From that point on, they were pretty much inseparable through West Point and flight school. Years later, Neal discovered that Zack had actually stolen his bunk... but by then it was too late; Zack had become one of his lifelong best friends. Bunk theft aside, Zack is one of the kindest souls you'll ever meet, only rivaled by his lovely wife Holly and their three beautiful children.
Marcus
Groomsman / Big Brother
The mysterious big (but smaller) brother. What does he do? this and that. Where does he live? nobody really knows. Aside from being responsible for many of toddler Neal's earliest injuries (he denies this) and setting unreasonably high bars of success for his younger siblings, Marcus has always been a great brother. He speaks multiple languages, has traveled to more countries than we can count, and always has room on his adventures for his lowly younger brother.
