You see, we've technically known each other our entire lives. Call it, #smalltownproblems or maybe just a matter of fate, BUT here we are today about to say "I do". I don't think anyone would have expected it, and neither did we, but we wound up together. It all started in September 2012, when Kaylee was in her senior year of high school, and Maxwell was in his junior year of high school. What started off as just harmless flirting, turned into something much larger when Kaylee mustered up the strength to ask Maxwell to her prom. At first, Max said "no!". But if you know Kaylee, when she wants something, she gets it. So after much persistence, Max finally agreed to go with her. Leading up to the prom, which was held on May 26th, 2013, the two were inseparable. From shopping trips to the mall, baseball games, ice cream dates, lots of country music, and nights spent watching the stars from the hood of Kaylee's car... A lot was done, in a short period of time, and somewhere along the way the two of us were falling for each other. We never really had an official moment where we agreed we were dating, but it happened organically. In August of 2013, Kaylee left for college, but the two remained together. From this point until about 2015, there were many ups and downs. Moments when the relationship was tested but miraculously the love we felt for each other kept us holding on. In November 2015, Maxwell took a job in the city and moved to Brooklyn in order to be closer to Kaylee. The two remained in Brooklyn for three years as Kaylee finished up school, got her teaching license, and found a job. In February of 2019, Kaylee and Maxwell moved to Manhattan which is where they currently call home. We are so lucky to have found each other because to be honest each day somehow gets better and better. We work through the difficult times with each other, and savor the beautiful moments together. We are so excited for what the future holds!
