WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

We're asking guests to dress in formal attire. For the ladies, you are welcome to wear heels, but since our ceremony will be on the lawn, you may be more comfortable in a block heel or wedges rather than stilettos. We've included a photo of the actual ceremony location so you can get a feel for the space and plan your footwear accordingly!

Our venue is Barr Mansion, located fifteen minutes outside of downtown Austin.

Will there be an open bar?

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can't RSVP just yet, but once formal invitations are sent out (~12 weeks before the wedding date), they will officially open. RSVPs will be collected digitally, so check your invitation later for the link and deadline.

Is the wedding outdoors or indoors?

Answer

Our ceremony takes place on the lawn under the shade of Barr Mansion's beautiful old pecan tree! For the reception, we will move indoors to the ballroom for dinner and dancing.

Can I have a plus-one?

Answer

We want everyone to be able to bring who they want, but it will depend on space! If you do not have a named plus one on your RSVP, please reach out to the bride or groom with your plus-one requests.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, on-site parking is available for free at Barr Mansion. That said, we encourage guests to rideshare (Uber/Lyft) if possible so everyone can fully enjoy the evening worry-free!

Are children welcome?

Answer

Kids are more than welcome! The more the merrier. Please include them in your RSVP headcount.
