No. Our venue is 21+ only so kiddos will need to stay home. If you are traveling with your children to Chattanooga and need to find a sitter, please reach out to Kaylee directly; depending on the number of kids Kaylee will coordinate a sitter in town for everyone.
Please let us know if you are coming as soon as possible. We are required to have our total guest count to the venue by August 31st and any RSVPs not received by then will be an automatic NO. We ask that you RSVP here on this website for the easiest process. If you are having trouble RSVP-ing, please reach out to Kaylee.
No. Our ceremony will be no electronics allowed, no exceptions. We have booked a great Chattanooga photographer who will also be recording the entire ceremony from a stationary camera at the back of the aisle. Please avoid interfering with the video and photo process by silencing your cell phones and keeping them in your pocket the WHOLE ceremony. There will be plenty of photo ops at the reception and we will be more than happy to send you digital images after we receive them!
We are requesting guests come in their best semi-formal wear in a darker color. Ladies please wear a cocktail dress, a midi dress, or a jumpsuit. Gents, slacks, a tie, and a button down are perfect. Please try to wear a darker blue, green, purple, or any neutral color like black, silver or gold, or tan. October in Chattanooga can have really varied weather from 50s to 80s, so bring a jacket just in case! Due to the nature of our venue, jeans, shorts, or casual flip flops will not be allowed. If you’re looking for the perfect shoe, check out Pashion Footwear (pashionfootwear.com ) and use my code WGKAYLEEWILLIAMS for a discount!
We know, Chatt is a small airport and can be pricy to get to. Luckily it is easy to fly in to one of the larger airports nearby and rent a car! Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta airport and the Nashville International airport are both two hours away. You can fly in there, rent a car, and drive, or there is a shuttle service that connects all three cities.
We will be serving heavy hors d'oeuvres and dessert during the reception, but there will not be a full plated dinner. Due to the later timeline of our wedding, we encourage you to plan on having a large late lunch or a small early dinner. Chattanooga has some truly fabulous restaurants, many located right by the venue. We will be having late night food at the afterparty so plan on sticking with us following the reception!
We appreciate your time and money spent traveling to Chattanooga to celebrate with us, so no gifts are expected! However if you would like to gift something, we ask you to please send a contribution to our "honeymoon fund" via Venmo (@Kaylee-Nix). As two adults who have lived together for over two years, our 1200 square foot house is just about full to bursting! But we would sincerely appreciate any funds to help support our post-wedding travels and to save as we prepare to purchase our next home together!
No. Your invitation is only for the people whose names are on it. If you have an unspecified plus one, your invitation will say “and guest”.
Kalen. Kaylee will not be taking complaints at this time; she’s too fragile.
