We met during our senior year of high school, thanks to a scheduling mix-up that turned out to be the best twist of fate. A week into the semester, Kaylee got moved into Earth & Space Science and picked an open seat—right next to Joshua. Kaylee was a theatre kid, full of energy and very chatty. He was a quiet, shy varsity football player. Naturally, Kaylee started talking to him immediately. For our first class project, Joshua asked Kaylee to be his lab partner. One project turned into all of them... and somewhere along the way, we became best friends. The rest, as they say, is history.
