Millennial dating, internet style: It seems that everyone meets with the help of the internet nowadays, and we are thankful for technology for bringing us together. My profile said something like "I'm outdoorsy in that I like drinking beer on patios" (clever, right?) Well, Henry asked if I would like to get a beer on a patio with him, and the rest was fate. We went to Wise Man brewery, my very favorite place, and talked until the place shut down. I knew that night that he was different than any other man I'd ever met. Each and every day our affection for each other grows, and we cannot wait to tie the knot!
I'm not a girl who likes surprises. I prefer to know what's up. Henry gets me, and so our proposal was no shocking affair, but a mutually decided event. It was perfect in every way (besides the fact that I was incredibly sweaty from hiking up a mountain). We sat down on a secluded bluff and decided that, yes, we did want to be married.
We are so lucky to make this vow to love and cherish each other forever. Though it has only been a few years since we met, it feels like we have spent a lifetime waiting for this day.
