December 2021: We met by swiping right on Tinder. After a few weeks of talking over text, our first date was at Buck and Honeys in Monona. We were there for over three hours and knew we had something special. After only knowing each other for two weeks, we said "I love you." Spring 2022: Even though we were at different schools, we were determined to prioritize our relationship during this time. We saw each other every weekend, whether it was Gabe coming to Madison or Kaylee going to Oshkosh. Summer 2022: After only dating for 4 months, Kaylee decided to move to Oshkosh for the summer to live with Gabe. That summer, we learned more about each other and were more in love than ever! Fall 2022: Kaylee moved back to Madison to start her senior year at Edgewood College while Gabe stayed in Oshkosh to finish college as well. Our entire senior year, we saw each other every week. We spent many weekends hanging with friends, enjoying being 21, and looking at what we want to do for careers after graduation. May 2023: The day we graduated, we moved into Gabe's parent's basement together. We finally never had to do long distance again! We started to have routine and not live out of a suitcase every weekend. February 2024: We got an accepted offer on a house in Stoughton. This is when Gabe started planning an engagement. Our engagement story: Gabe spent several months finding the perfect ring and planning an engagement. However, Kaylee ruined his engagement plans and found out he was going to propose when they closed on their house. So Gabe's plans changed and he proposed on his birthday June 8th, 2024 in Madison! June 28th, 2024: We moved into our first house. At this point, we felt like "real adults." We learned there is a lot more that goes into being a homeowner than we thought. The next several months consisted of searching for furniture and settling in. We felt like something was missing in our house (like a dog). March 12th, 2025: We brought home our puppy Tilly! She has been the best addition to our little family, and we are very proud dog parents. Next up: June 6th, 2026 We cannot wait to celebrate with you all on 06/06/2026!
