Kaylee & Donavon

FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kaylee Barnard and Donavon Samuels Jr.
We want to make your experience at our wedding as enjoyable and seamless as possible! Below, you’ll find answers to common questions about our big day. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Question

When should I rsvp?

Answer

If you are able to RSVP as soon as you receive your invitation, that would be extremely helpful! We ask that you RSVP before March 13th. After that, unfortunately, any unanswered invites will have to be marked as "not attending" due to our vendors' cut off dates.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We would love to keep our wedding as intimate as possible. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP through the website. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress Attire: Semi-Formal We encourage you to embrace elegant pastels, soft florals, and sophisticated spring hues that complement the season. Think chic, airy, and effortlessly stylish! Ladies: Knee-length (midi) or floor-length (maxi) dresses. Or opt for an elegant blouse paired with a skirt or trousers. Pair with heels, dressy flats, or sandals. Gentlemen: Well-fitted suit jacket or blazer, paired with dress pants or chinos, a crisp dress shirt, and dress shoes, is a great starting point. One small request— we kindly ask that you avoid jeans and neon colors. Instead, we’d love to see a palette of refined spring shades that enhance the beauty of the day. Your presence means the world to us, and we can’t wait to celebrate in style together! Below you will see the schedule for this special day.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. This excludes the children specifically noted on the invitations, as well as our most adorable ring bearers and flower girl. We hope you'll take this opportunity to enjoy the night off and we appreciate you making prior arrangements!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. Please arrive no later than 3:30pm to give yourself plenty of time to park, charter up to the ceremony space and find a seat. We ask that you do not arrive earlier than 3:00pm. Any guests who are not seated by 3:55 pm will not be permitted to enter the venue until after the conclusion of the ceremony. We appreciate your understanding in ensuring we have an uninterrupted ceremony.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Of course! We ask that all guests please drink responsibly and do not drive if you plan on drinking. Please make arrangements for a safe ride home. We can't wait to celebrate accordingly!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Although your presence is the best gift we could receive, we realize that some of you would like to know about a physical gift. Right here on our wedding website is the easiest way to access all of our registries in one place. If you would like to contribute to our next adventure as newlyweds, we have set up a honeymoon fund. Your generosity would mean the world to us as we create unforgettable memories together. Thank you for being a part of our special journey!

Question

Do you have hotel blocks for guests?

Answer

Yes! For more information, please see the "Travel" tab.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an "unplugged" ceremony. We kindly ask that all guests refrain from using their phones for photos or videos during our ceremony. To ensure an intimate and distraction-free experience, please silence and put away your devices until cocktail hour. Keeping phones tucked away also allows our professional photographer to capture the best possible images of this special moment. We truly appreciate your cooperation and presence as we celebrate this joyous occasion!
