Yes, we eloped in Acadia National Park on October 3, 2020–our original wedding date. After a lot of thought and more than a little angst, we decided that it was important for us to move forward with our lives and our relationship as originally planned. For the safety of our friends, family, and the public, we held an intimate ceremony with only ourselves, our officiants, and a witness present. But while the papers are signed, we saved several important elements including our wedding clothes, ring exchange, and personalized vows for a time when we could share them with all our nearest and dearest. We can't wait to reaffirm our commitment to one another with you!
Feel free to bring a date along for welcome campfire the evening before the wedding, but we ask that only invited guests attend the ceremony and reception.
Yes. That said, if you'd like to help us keep our numbers down and make it a date night, feel free! Please indicate the number of kids under age 18 that you will be bringing when you RSVP.
Camp Somerset has a large parking lot near the reception venue. Golf carts will be available to transport guests with mobility concerns around the campus as needed.
Yes! We are excited to offer onsite accommodations in Camp Somerset's beautiful, updated cabins. Check the Travel page for more details
We are working on arranging hotel blocks in nearby Waterville and Augusta. Keep an eye on our travel page for updates.
We want everyone to be truly present with us as we start the rest of our lives together, so we ask that all cell phones be turned off and stowed out of sight for the duration of the ceremony. After that, please feel free to take as many photos/videos/Boomerangs as you want throughout the reception and tag us at #workcrushwedding on the 'gram.
Great question! Abby Tensia, a local artist and friend, drew our save the dates and invitations. You should check her out on Instagram at @abetensiaillustration or on her website, Abetensia.com.
