Welcome to Iowa

We know that many of our closest family members and friends are coming to see us from the other side of the country (Thanks for making the trek)! So for our out-of-towners, we made a list of some places you should check out. :)
Iowa Corn Fields

Iowa Corn Fields

Anywhere, IA

If you know Kaylee, you've definitely heard her brag on the Iowa corn. Drive 5 miles in any direction to find out why. 😏

Nauvoo Temple

Nauvoo Temple

50 N Wells St, Nauvoo, IL 62354

Nauvoo is a special place for Kaylee, seeing how she lived there for 10 years and spent another 2 summers caring for every flower in town. But it's also special to a lot of other people for a lot of other reasons. Kaylee and Carter will be sealed in the Nauvoo Temple for all of time and eternity when Coronavirus allows us to. Check it out. Feel the Spirit. It feels like Heaven on Earth (because it is).

A. J.'s Tenderloins

A. J.'s Tenderloins

101 Elm Street, Mount Sterling, IA 52573
, (319) 494-5582

It's basically just a giant freakin slab of tenderloin.

Mt Hamill Tap

Mt Hamill Tap

1467 155th Avenue, Donnellson, IA 52625
, (319) 469-2221

Again. Really yummy, really bad for you food. Chicken night is Friday and Saturday so y'all better find the time to go. Plus Kaylee's parents live 9 minutes down the road, so it's not like you'll be far anyway.

For all the days along the way
