We're Getting Married!

I was coworkers with Austin's mom way before I ever met him! She had talked about having a son my age for the longest time and I never thought much of it. She asked me to house sit for her and he stopped by to drop something off (his mom told him there was a cute blonde at the house and he didn't believe her so he had to check it out himself but used that excuse 😂) and I was freaked out because I thought some stranger showed up at the door. After that day we couldn't be without each other and now we're getting married!!

Before Austin proposed I had my suspicions it was happening sometime soon but I was not expecting it to happen at all when it did. Austin’s mom had asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding. So when we flew to Arizona for the wedding, I was so busy with doing bridesmaid things before the wedding I had zero suspicions. During the reception at the wedding, Lisa was doing her bouquet toss (I had been saying all week I better catch that bouquet 😂) and instead of throwing it she turned around and handed it to me. She turned me around to find Austin on one knee…happiest moment of my life. I instantly started crying. He even had my parents fly out and my grandma drive over to be there to watch me get proposed to. I got shocked for a second time looking up and seeing my dad and then seeing my mom and grandma too lol. Not only did I get to share such a special day with my amazing mother in law who I love so much, but I also get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend and soulmate. Truly the best day ever. Little did I know he had been planning it for months and had asked my parents for their blessing over 6 months prior to proposing.
