Back in 2011, Alex and I both decided to go to Vincennes University! One day my friend told me that this boy on the baseball team thought I was cute, and he was going to the same party we were that night! That boy ended up being Alex, and I thought he was pretty cute too! Nine years later, after a little growing up, and here we are! We have loved being enaged, but we are thrilled to celebrate this new chapter with all of you!

Alex and I decided to go on our first trip abroad to Peru! The start of the trip was spent exploring the city of Cusco, taking a train to the base of Machu PIcchu, and then hiking to the top of the mountain! Then we headed to the Amazon Rain Forest where we stayed in a treehouse 80 ft up in the air! We got to hold an anaconda and a sloth, feed monkeys, fish for piranha, and go on a sunset cruise to see pink dolphins. One night after dinner Alex and I went up to our tree house. After we sat and talked about all of the amazing things we had gotten to see and do with each other, Alex popped the question. It was an obvious YES! After we left the Amazon we headed down to the beaches of Paracas, where we relaxed and celebrated getting engaged! It was a trip of a lifetime!
