Alex and Kaylee met when they were sophomores at Strongsville High School. Although they had always known of each other and had some mutual friends, they had never spent any time together. After a few weeks of 'talking,' Alex invited Kaylee over to his house to watch a movie. They spent the entire night laughing and getting to know each other better; they have been inseparable ever since. Homecomings, prom, graduations, college, starting their first jobs, moving and everything in between - Kaylee and Alex have done it together. They are looking forward to a lifetime full of milestones and memories!
Alex took Kaylee out for what she thought was going to be a typical date night to Don's Lighthouse in Cleveland. However, when Alex handed Kaylee a hand-written love letter, which included a poem by Maya Angelou, she instantly started crying as she had an idea of what was about to come. Just as Kaylee finished reading the letter, Alex got down on one knee and asked Kaylee to be his wife. Kaylee said YES and they celebrated with a champagne toast. But the surprises did not end there - Alex then brought Kaylee to the Flats, where they ended the night celebrating with some of their family and friends. Two days later both families joined to celebrate again with an engagement brunch. It was a weekend full of surprises, unforgettable memories and a lot of love!
