Door County is known for its Cherries and Cherry Orchards. If we are lucky, the cherry blossoming season will be underway. Blossoms will begin dotting trees in the southern portion of the county and make their way north mid-May. During this time, Door County’s 2,500 acres of cherry orchards will be blanketed in white and pink, and the earliest-arriving wildflowers will bring their greens, yellows, and baby blues as well. Check out the website, offering various locations you can visit to see the cherry blossoms.

The restaurant with goats on the roof! This is probably one of the most popular dinning places in Door County. They offer Swedish-style food, and we usually get their famous Swedish pancakes(crepes) when we go for breakfast. If the weather is nice, they will have the goats out to graze on their grass-made roofs. Fastly growing, they also have a cozy beer garden (Stabbur) and Swedish boutique (Butik).
