For those traveling from the US, there are direct flights to Edinburgh from a few major cities (NYC and DC included) ! There are more flights that have short layovers as well. You can also fly into Glasgow if that is more convenient - it is about 1 hour from Edinburgh.

The Black Bull Hotel

The Black Bull Hotel is a small inn located in the town of Lauder, about half a mile from Thirlestane Castle. If you would like to stay closer to the castle, we have blocked off rooms here for Sunday (the night of the welcome party) and Monday (the night of the wedding). There are deluxe, family or classic rooms available at different price points. The Black Bull will hold these rooms until June 5th. Please call or email them to book.

Car Rental

Renting a car is quick and easy at EDI airport if you are interested in having a car during your stay! There are some garages in town or metered parking on most streets. Don't forget about driving on the other side! :)
