We're getting married!

We both attended Kent State University where our similarities and passions aligned. We met in the ROTC program where we grew as friends first. After re-connecting after graduation, we both thought, "Okay. This could be something."

Our first date was located at M Italian in Chagrin Falls. We both remember being overly nervous, given we had already known each other for years. As we looked at the menu, Nick mention he was going to order a salad. As my friends and family know me, I don't do the green stuff. I immediately told him a salad wouldn't do. As our server took our order, he asked for a pizza and he ate the whole thing! And just like that, I knew we were meant to be.

He took me on a scavenger hunt through the location of their first dates, where I found romantic notes hidden. These notes read: "The first place I experienced your pure passion and genuine generosity. I will never forget the Easter basket loaded with all of my favorites". "The first place I knew I could talk about whatever nonsense was running through my head and you'd listen without judgement". "The place I got to witness your sense of adventure with Sky. When I looked at your both I felt like I was right where I was supposed to be". Our fourth adventure was at the Overlook in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park where he got down on one knee in front of a beautiful scenery and loved ones. Of course I said, "YES", and we were engaged. Afterwards we went to dinner at the location of our first date, where we celebrated with more of our loved ones. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you.
