Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Kayla Spiezio and Ryan Shurtleff
Here is our incredible wedding party — the heart of our celebration and the friends and family who make this moment unforgettable.

Kylie Miller

Officiant

For more than fifteen years, Kylie has been my ride‑or‑die. The Michael Scott to my Dwight. The Blanche to my Rose. My “Banger Sister.” She has been a steady pillar through every high and every low, always showing up with love, honesty, and unwavering support. From wild nights at bars — where she inevitably had to save me from sketchy vans — to dinners where we start off laughing and end up crying into our nachos, she has always been there. When I met Ryan, she was the very first person I told, “I’m going to marry this man.” She didn’t question it or call me crazy. She knew my heart, trusted my intuition, and stood beside me through every milestone that followed. I truly cannot imagine a better person to officiate our wedding. Having her up there with us feels like the most natural, meaningful choice — a full‑circle moment with the person who has witnessed every chapter of my life and cheered me through all of them.

Amelia Vega

Maid of Honor

Amelia is my eldest niece, but she’s also my best friend. She is the wisest ten‑year‑old I know, and somehow she’s often the one giving me the meaningful life advice. She’s beautiful, yes—but she’s also kind. She’s talented—but she pairs every gift with dedication and hard work. She is an incredible big sister, the natural leader among her cousins, and a fiercely devoted friend who never hesitates to stand up for what’s right. She loves her family, cheerleading, tumbling on any flat surface she can find, and—of course—shopping. Choosing her as my maid of honor wasn’t just easy; it was the most obvious decision I’ve ever made. She is joy, strength, and heart wrapped into one extraordinary girl, and I’m endlessly proud to have her by my side.

Courteney Felten

Bridesmaid

Courteney is my oldest sister, and she has always stepped into that role with such grace and strength. She’s been my protector, my organizer, my steady place to land. As I’ve grown older, I’ve realized just how much I still look up to her — not because she’s older, but because of the person she is. Having her stand beside me on my wedding day is one of the greatest honors of my life.

Michelle Spiezio

Bridesmaid

Michelle may be my younger sister, but in so many ways she has always felt like the older one—steady, wise, and full of heart. She’s built a life overflowing with love and laughter, and she even gave me one of the greatest gifts I could ever ask for: my best friend, Amelia. Having her by my side on my wedding day means more than she knows. Her presence brings comfort, ease, and a sense of home that only she can offer.

Adriane Lewandowski

Bridesmaid

Our family has always affectionately referred to Adriane as our “fake cousin,” but the truth is she has always been family in every way that matters. As we’ve grown older, she and I have shared so many meaningful moments—silly, spontaneous adventures, our mutual obsession with themed events, and, most precious to me, the deep conversations and life advice that have shaped who I am. Having her stand by my side on my wedding day is an honor.

Jaxon Shurtleff

Best Man

"The Bean" - the first born, the natural leader of the three, and now my best man. Jaxon has shown me what it means to live with unbridle passion. He pursues everything with relentless completionism and deep purpose: a sponge for knowledge, a force of nature on the soccer pitch, a devoted collector of all things Godzilla, and ready to passionately debate anything and everything - even if he doesn't believe it.

Robert Shurtleff

Groomsman

Robert is my older brother and has always been more than just a sibling - he's one of my very best friends. From the time I was little, he never left me behind. Whether it was sneaking out to see a late movie, dragging me on road trips, teaching me to shoot tequila, or just showing up when I needed him most, he made sure I got to experience life right alongside him. He pulled me into adventures, taught me courage by example, and gave me the gift of a brother who is also a true lifelong friend.

Ross Shurtless

Groomsman

My little brother: the one who always knew his calling- to protect and serve. He skipped the parties to volunteer, the shortcuts to do what's right, and he's one of the best men I know - the kind of person this world is lucky to have, and first person I call when I get a speeding ticket.

Wyatt Shurtleff

Groomsman

The middle child and steadfast groomsman: the quick-witted prankster who keeps us all on our toes, the creative artist who sees magic everywhere, and the hilarious comedian whose laugh is downright contagious - it lights up the room like fireworks. He dodges hugs like a pro, stays glued to his phone, and competes at everything with Olympic-level intensity. Couldn't ask for a better wingman on my wedding day.

Madilyn Felten

Flower Girl

Madilyn is so much more than my niece — she’s one of my closest friends. She’s hardworking, silly in the best possible way, and incredibly bright. Even when she was just two years old, she had already mastered the art of joke‑telling, creating her own brand of humor that could light up any room. She amazes me constantly with her bravery and the fierce way she takes on life. She’s an extraordinary big sister, a dedicated student in both school and her activities, and a natural leader who inspires everyone around her. Watching her grow has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I’m beyond excited that she’ll be part of my wedding day. It feels right — because she’s been such a meaningful part of my world all along.

Ava Felten

Flower Girl

Ava is truly one of a kind. Her interests span an incredible range — from zombies to princesses to Michael Jackson’s Thriller — but absolutely no stickers, thank you very much. She can hold a conversation better than most adults, and it’s easy to forget she’s only three. She’s always pushing boundaries, expressing her feelings with a mix of honesty, humor, and flair that never fails to impress. I’m so excited to have her, alongside her sister, as one of my flower girls. Though something tells me she’ll be inching her way toward that dance floor before long…

Maverick Shurtleff

Ring Bearer

The ring bearer and youngest of the trio with the biggest heart. He greets the world with endless curiosity and wonder, plays piano like it's his language of love, can't resist a single dog, and just wants everything brighter. Today he carried the rings, but he's always carried the reminder to live each day to its capacity.

Logan Schebel

Ring Bearer

Logan is the sweetest little boy—always looking out for the people around him and making sure everyone stays in good spirits. He may only be four, but he carries himself with a sense of confidence and self‑assurance that feels far beyond his years. He loves all the classic little‑boy things: football, wrestling with his dad, pestering his big sister. But what really sets him apart is his absolute dedication to a bit. Logan creates characters and dialogue with ease, pulling everyone around him into whatever story he’s spinning. His imagination is magnetic. Choosing him as a ring bearer was a no‑brainer—this is the role he was born to play. And honestly, we’re all excited to see what kind of spin he puts on it, or how much audience participation he decides is necessary. With Logan, you never quite know what’s coming, but you always know it’ll be unforgettable.
