Together is a beautiful place to be

Kayla and Giovanni both worked at a supermarket. Kayla would see Giovanni in the aisles and was intrigued by him. Something about him was just so interesting and she needed to know more but was too scared to talk to him herself. She sent her cousin Letisha to investigate! Letisha reported back that he was 19 and seemed super shy. She was right! Kayla started to make occasional trips down the aisles to try to walk by him and strike up a conversation but he wouldn’t budge. It was always just a quick, “Hi” and then he would get right back to work. Kayla was having a party for Halloween and thought it would be a good opportunity to get Gio away from work and get him to talk. So, she invited him. He was so brave and showed up to the party stag, dressed as Clark Kent (so cute!) and she was dressed as a nerd. Kayla wasn’t wrong though, per usual ;) Gio talked, not much, but he did and Kayla was smitten! It seemed Gio was too. They spent that entire night together and then every night after… ❤️

Kayla and Gio took a trip to San Antonio with their best friends, Jeremy and DeAnna. They decided to visit the San Antonio Botanical Gardens. It was so hot! They kept taking breaks going back and forth to the restrooms to cool down, haha! They ended up finding this really pretty room full of all different types of green plants, very much tropical vibes, it had a waterfall and all. Gio drops down, pretending to tie his shoe and before you know it, he turns to Kayla and shows her a ring! He is too nervous to talk and he knew he would be so DeAnna calls Kayla and she turns to see DeAnna in the background with a sign that said, “Will you marry me?” and Jeremy capturing every moment. Kayla turns back to Gio and says “YES!” 😍💍
