Travel Note

For those flying in

SBA is the most convenient airport option, located just 10 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara in Goleta. SBA is a small, easy-to-navigate airport with direct and connecting flights from LAX, SFO, DEN and others. Rental cars, taxis, and rideshares are all available at the airport. If you'd like to save the drive, SBA can be connected via LAX (we've done it, we dig it, we recommend it!) LAX is a larger airport with more flight options and often better fares. From there, Santa Barbara is about a 2-hour drive north along the coast. Guests arriving at LAX can rent a car, take a rideshare, or catch the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train straight into Santa Barbara. Once you’re in town, Santa Barbara is easy to get around. Many hotels, restaurants, and shops are walkable. For exploring beyond downtown, rideshares and rental cars are widely available.

Train

Pacific Surfliner

For a scenic and stress-free way to arrive in Santa Barbara, hop aboard the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner. This coastal train route runs from San Diego to San Luis Obispo, with major stops in Los Angeles and Ventura (that's us!) along the way. It’s a comfortable ride with ocean views, Wi-Fi, and a café car—perfect for kicking off the weekend early. The train drops you right at Santa Barbara Station, conveniently located in the heart of downtown and just minutes from most hotels and venues. We recommend booking tickets in advance, especially for Friday arrivals and Sunday departures:
