We’re tying the knot!

In January we received unfortunate news that our original wedding venue to Paso closed! We grieved and immediately began searching for a new venue. The future Mr. & Mrs. Vauclin will wed at Vega Vineyard and Farm! Vega offers a more natural and down to earth atmosphere to create joyful moments with our beautiful guests. We were floored by the hospitality of the owner, Jimmy, and all the little details that will make our wedding day vision come to life. Anthony and Kaylah met at Bible Study in Orcutt California (thanks to Heidi & Ainsley). As Kaylah gazed at the nighttime stars, Anthony became starry-eyed himself. Kaylah was intrigued and wondered what story lay behind Anthony’s deep brown eyes. Months later, Kaylah invited Anthony to join her half-marathon training walks. Anthony shared more of his story, helped pick out a Christmas tree, and then asked Kaylah on a date! Anthony experienced healing from his chronic pain first. He endured almost 3 years of back pain resulting in kidney surgery. The Lord blessed him with a pain-free life as a result! Later Anthony and Kaylah ran a superhero 10k which began the season of Kaylah’s foot pain. The couple learned to be gracious with themselves, forgive, & encourage each other as the pain subsided. Meanwhile, Anthony was planning a trip to Arizona to explore hiking & visit his friends (thank you Jason & Jessica). Kaylah was hopefully suspicious of a proposal. After 3 short trails & a stroll to a windy overlook of cathedral peak, Anthony asked Kaylah, “Would you like another surprise?” Kaylah was stunned and replied to his proposal with a solid “Sure!” Kaylah & Anthony are so blessed to have amazing friends who are present in their lives.
