In 2016 Rashan and Kaylah crossed paths and almost a decade later they're tying the knot! I know you're probably curious, how did this love story begin? Well here it is: It all started with a direct message to Kaylah's inbox on Instagram. The first message read "Who are you?" .. "I know your knee jerk reaction is probably, "who are YOU? But my name is Rashan and I think you're really fly". From there, the pages of Rashan and Kaylah's love story were written. Undeniably, Kaylah found Rashan charming, adventurous & magnetic, while he admired her unimaginable creativity, devotion, & beautiful aura. She did find a way to keep him on his toes. In her fashion, she "ghosted" him and they reconnected months later. From that very first coffee date in Starbucks, Rashan would never let Kaylah out of his sight, or love 💕. What followed were cherished memories, adventures & belly laughs rooted in their endless infatuation of music, fashion, art, & food . One of their first real dates was a Sampha concert and on that special day Kaylah and Rashan said I love you for the very first time. To further establish his commitment in a instance of youthful overconfidence when greeting his Great Aunt Del Rashan introduced Kaylah as his girlfriend, lovingly declaring the “official” start of their relationship. Years have passed since and they remain inseparable. Fulfilling promises together, working through the ebbs and flows of life, & navigating adulthood. On May 26th 2024, Rashan surprised Kaylah with a ring asking for her hand in marriage. In his words "I didn't get a chance to ask you to be my girlfriend, so I want to ask you to be my wife" *deep gasp/mic drop*. Of course she said yes and on June 26th, 2026 they will be saying "I Do".
