Our Story

Eight years ago, God crossed our paths, and what began as a natural connection has grown into a love rooted in trust, faith, and commitment. We’ve spent most of our relationship long-distance, something that could have pulled us apart but instead strengthened our foundation. Through the miles, we learned how to love on a deeper level, how to celebrate independence while growing closer together, and how to build a relationship that values presence and intentionality. We like to think we’re a fun couple—the first ones on the dance floor, laughter at a good joke (usually Josh’s), and the first to seek out new adventures together. Weekends often mean snowboarding, wake surfing, hiking, running, road-tripping to the beach and more recently working on the ranch. Josh’s saxophone fills our lives with music, and Kaylah, a traveler never lets go of the opportunity to live. Family and tradition are also at the heart of our story. Josh’s family ranch, where we will say “I do,” holds generations of memories—the silos that have stood for decades, eucalyptus trees both loved and begrudged, and a blue truck parked as if time stood still. It is here, surrounded by the vines that our next chapter will begin. Our marriage will be a celebration not only of us but of the families and cultures that shaped us, woven together with food, dance, and music of many kinds. With God at the center of our lives, we’ve learned to love humbly. We’re not perfect, but our story is one of faith and resilience. We’ve grown up together, grown closer together, and we’re eager in what’s still to come together.
