Joining Christian Mingle was a decision Kaylah made grudgingly. Now she realizes it was one of the best decisions she’s ever made. Kaylah and Baxter were going about life pretty normally until one day that Kaylah thought there was room for more in life. She prayed that God could help her be at her best and prepare her heart for the right man, she never expected to meet someone as awesome as A.P. When she found AP’s page she knew he was special, she took a leap of faith, sent a message and the rest is history!

This budding young engineer has amassed unlikely fame and fortune though his ... just kidding. It’s more along the lines of Superman, mild mannered engineer who can leap short fences in a single hop. After leaving the nuclear field and joining the ranks of food and chemical processing he knew something was missing in his life. With the help of his handy-dandy counselor he compiled a list of non-negotiable traits for a significant other. His conclusion? He wanted a unicorn basically. Joke was on him when God introduced him to Kaylah! Moral of his story? Unicorns do exist people.

We are blessed to celebrate together with Andrew, Kaylah, family, and friends, their marriage ceremony. Weddings are so joyful, they bring hope as two people commit themselves to one another. My wife and I have been married over 40 years, we have four children, and blessed with grandchildren. A lot of joy, some tears but God’s faithfulness has kept us. We pray that same faithfulness will keep Andrew and Kaylah. On our journey of faith we were blessed to meet Andrew during our early days of our missions work in Asia, looking forward to getting to know Kaylah during our time in the States. God does have a good plan for each person, best to find your place in God's family first. We are looking forward to see the good plans God has for Andrew and Kaylah as they start a new life together.

Maid of Honor

Melody and Kaylah first met at St. Alexius where Kaylah would unknowingly become Melody’s “work mom”. What started out as adventurous twelve hour shifts on the telemetry floor grew into a friendship that has spanned some of the darkest times that neither of them expected. Kaylah has been able to watch Melody grow into an amazing nurse and a wonderful mom throughout the years. It is a true honor to have Melody as the maid of honor.

Best Man

Dennis is a life long friend to A.P. in A.P.’s mind because, even though they met in high school, they became close friends in short order, but also, the way they Dennis is always there for A.P. during some of the most difficult times in his life, even if he might not realize it. During the day he is a consultant for computer programs but doubles as a ninja at night. His ninja skills are known to be comparable on the highest of level but some believe those skills are to be speculated. While those losers want to downplay his skills, A.P. believes the opposite, no one knows how amazing his skills are because he’s just that good of a ninja. He lives in New Mexico near where the wedding is going to take place with his wife Zuzanna and child ... I mean dog. Wedding party, ASSEMBLE!!!

As Andrew’s mom, I want you to know he can do more than leap short fences! He began climbing before he could walk. By the time he was seven months I had to put his crib mattress on the floor because he kept climbing out of it! He eventually climbed on top of the fridge by age two. But that wasn’t enough! He was riding a two-wheeled bike by age four. He built a ramp so tall the city had to tell him to take it down; he was commended on his building abilities by the city worker given the task of telling him to take it down. He’s grown into a fun-loving man who also loves God. I don’t think I’ve seen him this happy since he was a child. I’m delighted he and Kaylah found each other and can’t wait to see what blessings the Lord has in store for them as they begin their new new journey together.

Baxter Ulysses S. Grant

Doggo of the Bride

In coming before you for the first time as Chief Magistrate of this great nation.... oh wait that’s from the ACTUAL Ulysses S Grant. Baxter is the cutest dog in existence, he is pretty much a model. He has quite a personality and can be a bit of a troublemaker. Baxter never had an official middle name but one day when his trouble making side was really taking over Kaylah became so frustrated she called him Baxter Ulysses and it stuck! Baxter may also think that this wedding is for him and AP- ever since they met Baxter has had very special feelings for AP.
