Although children of all ages are invited to the wedding we please ask you keep the kiddos quiet for the ceremony. We also want to make you aware that nothing about the wedding or reception will be tailored for children. This includes the music, language, food, alcohol consumption, noise, etc.
The dress code is cocktail attire. That means suits/dress pants and dress shirt for the gentlemen and dresses/rompers of any length for the ladies. The ceremony will be outside, but mostly shaded and the reception will be indoors. Please note that to get to the ceremony site, there is a grassy hill and some stairs. There is also a short walk to the reception hall, so plan your footwear accordingly. We will have a golf cart available to transport anyone that may not be physically able to get to these sites themselves.
We do not plan on blocking out rooms at any hotels but we recommend staying at one of the hotels we have listed on our “Travel” page.
If you stay at one of the hotels listed in the “Travel” section, we plan on providing transportation to the venue and back to the hotels at different points throughout the reception.
The wedding party and parents will be wearing blue. The color scheme of the decor will be red, white, and blue.
The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. If you are running late or see that the ceremony has begun, please remain quietly at the back. The venue is called The Oaks and the address is: 628 Lovers Lane Midland, NC
