Garrett and Kayla’s story began September of 2018. At the time, Kayla was attending college in San Diego. Despite the distance, Garrett made frequent trips, often taking the train to Oceanside — to spend time with her whenever she wasn’t visiting home. Over the years, they have made incredible memories—traveling to Hawaii, Italy, Switzerland, Mexico, and enjoying countless camping trips. Over the years, their bond only grew stronger, and eventually, they found the perfect place to call home. On August 2, 2025, Garrett planned a beautiful getaway at the Hotel del Coronado. As the sun set in San Diego, he got down on one knee and proposed to Kayla on the beach, beginning the next chapter of their love story.
