We met about five years ago working at a law firm, but did not start dating until June 2018. Chris has been working in the IT Department there since August 2012 and Kayla started in October of 2014 in the Legal Department. Our paths did not cross much, but we had occasional interaction. A couple years ago we started to have more interaction and some conversations that went deeper than Kayla just instant messaging Chris to let him know about a certain automation program not working and asking if he can start it up again and him responding "yup" or deeper than a shy "hi" while passing in the hall. We both definitely had a crush on each other for awhile, but of course were too shy to say anything until Chris asked Kayla out and Kayla's response was "well sure". (That's one of our favorite things to joke about.) We often say God works in mysterious ways because the "push" Chris got to ask Kayla out was never something we would have expected and we both wouldn't have thought we'd end up with someone like the other. This relationship has been better than we could have ever dreamed, though, and we truly believe it is God's will and we are meant for each other. We are so incredibly blessed and cannot wait to start our lives together and celebrate the beginning of that with our family and friends.
