We're Getting Married!

Kayla and Mandell's paths crossed on July 3 2015, outside of a Bourbon St. bar in New Orleans, LA. However, the details of their fateful encounter vary, depending who’s telling the story. Mandell, local actor and then employee of said bar, elaborately explains how Kayla layed eyes on the sexiest/most charming man in New Orleans that day, and simply made her move! While Kayla, who was visiting New Orleans for Essence Festival at the time, is likely to tell the story more simplisticly: she was thirsty, looking for free shots, and Mandell happened to work at the restaurant that was providing them. The End. Is Kayla’s version more plausible? Perhaps. But no matter who’s version you believe, there are two things they will always be in agreement of: 1. Kayla was indeed thirsty that night, and 2. fate brought them together in such a way, that nothing could tear them apart. From the very beginning, Kayla and Mandell have been defying all odds. They can go on and on about their 1.5 years of long distance, their six months in Jacksonville, and current lives pursuing dreams in New York.
