After Zack's Junior Baseball State Tournament in 2013, I received a text saying, "Hi, it's Zack. Do you think I'm cute?" (I was at every game to watch my brother Marc. Thanks for bringing our worlds together). We went for our first date at the Regal Division theater to see Grown Ups 2. After 6 months we took a break considering I was too shy to even kiss him, but after about 2 months apart, we came back together, I broke out of my shell a bit, and we are now soulmates.
September 2018, Zack joined my family on a end of summer trip to Disneyland. Flying to Disneyland and going through airport security both require a lot of metal detectors, so each and every time, Zack would slip my dad the ring so that if anything were to go off, they could blame my dad's metal hip. On our second day of the trip, also my parents 26th anniversary, we decided we were going to make sure we took pictures that day. We started off in the entrance and slowly worked our way to the castle where I asked if Zack and I could take some alone together before we took a family photo. My mom immediately said no and that we would take a group picture first, so we did. While we set up, my mom was talking to the photographer and everyone was acting a little suspicious. When it was finally Zack and I's turn to take our picture, I turned to see him on one knee, in front of the magic castle. Of course I said yes, in the happiest place on earth!
