Zach and I met at a mutual friends birthday party back in September of 2020! I had arrived late to the party (classic) and when I walked in I immediately saw him and thought "Wow, okay who is that? I've never met him before!" I mingled at the dinner for a while before walking up to Zach and introducing myself. I walked up to him, stuck out my hand, and said "Hi, I don't think we've met before. I'm Kayla!". Zach looked at me, stuck out his hand, and with a very un-enthusiastic tone, he said "Hi, I'm Zach." Then he turned back to his conversation and did not give me the TIME. OF. DAY. I thought "Wow, OKAY. Well, I'm not giving up!". The party was moved to a friends house where everyone was talking and mingling. At one point in the night, Zach was sitting alone and I took that as my opportunity to go for round two in trying to talk to him. I sat down next to him and said "So tell me about yourself!". We ended up talking for 2 hours and really hit if off! We started dating in December of 2020 and the rest is history! We are two peas in a pod, complimenting each other in the areas where the other is lacking. It is such a gift to marry your best friend! We know that God has brought us together in His perfect timing for His glory alone. We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you-the people we love the most!!!
