Anthony and Katie needed someone to watch Quinn and Charlotte on their date nights. Enter Kayla, the trusted nanny. And enter Wade, the friend constantly asking, “Sooo… what’s good with the nanny?” Usually, this line was met with eye rolls or ignored completely. But one night, Katie did him a solid and agreed to tell Kayla that "Wade Clay is a nice guy". Curious to see what this persistent guy was all about, Kayla added Wade on Facebook. A couple of days later, he slid into her DMs. Classic. Wade already knew that he wasn't looking for a quick chat; he genuinely wanted to get to know her. They messaged back and forth for a few weeks, starting with the Wade's most pressing question: “How do you feel about cats?” And what do you know.. Kayla has a cat named Cersei, and Wade has 2 cats: Dany and Arya. Game of Thrones references galore, even though Kayla had never even seen the show (we know, we’re working on it). When Wade finally asked her out, Kayla replied, “Let me check my calendar,” which was a very polite way of saying, "I’m free, but I'm not about to make it look too easy." Wade, ever persistent, asked again a few days later. She finally caved, and said yes. One date turned into two. The second one happened the very next day. The following week, Wade went to Vegas with his friends... but they talked the entire time (his friends were thrilled). When he got back, Kayla picked him up from the airport.... and that was the start of everything.
