We first met in third grade at Applegate Elementary, sitting in the same classroom long before we ever imagined this would become our story.

Tyler moved away after third grade, and we didn’t reconnect until years later...thanks to a very random phone call that started it all again.

After college, we stayed in touch and began dating more seriously. Around that time, Tyler underwent cancer treatment, and many late nights in NYC were spent together at Sloan Kettering. Those moments brought us closer and helped build the strong foundation of our relationship. We’re so grateful that Tyler has now been cancer-free for eight years.

After eight years together, Tyler proposed on our annual fall trip. Last year we traveled to Vermont and hiked to the top of Mount Philo where he popped the question. We were surrounded by the prettiest fall foliage & yes it was Bo approved. 10/23/25
