Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge

Drive through the Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge to see the animals that call the Outer Banks home, including various birds, turtles, bears, and the only endangered Red Wolf colony left in the wild. We recommend driving through early in the morning or at dusk!
