We’ve known each other since high school, thanks to our grandmothers—who are close friends at the same church. After a few tries on his part, I finally gave in, and five years later here we are—engaged, in love, and blessed with our sweet daughter. He proposed in a beautiful surprise surrounded by family and friends, and we’re so excited to begin this next chapter together.
