Now at 24 years old and a nursing student she is preparing to marry the love of her life.

I know, we never thought this day would come. Tallon is a hard-working, strong-willed man who grew up in small-town Coldsprings, Tx. In his pre-teen years, he moved to south Texas. Little did he know it would lead him to a woman who keeps him on his toes and can roll with the best of them.

They say you meet some of your best friends while in nursing school. I don't know who "they" are but they would be correct. Day one Sam and I sat next to each other and hit it off right away. Sam and her family have become some of the most important people in my life in a very short amount of time and having all of them by our side adds just a little more special to this already special day.

We would call each other names. You know, all of the fun sister things. But one day all of that changed and we created a bond of trust and security. We stopped fighting against each other and started fighting for each other. On this special day, I am honored to have my older sister side by side with me as I know she will always be there to fight for me.

Becoming close friends as quickly as we have is rare. This bromance sparked quick and burned bright (hopefully Kayla isn't too jealous). Unfortunately, Justin has been called away to serve our country, but we will be praying for his safe return and know he will be with us in spirit.

As the little sister, who I share so much in common, I am proud to have her stand next to me. Growing up our age difference has always kept us at a distance, but as you become a young woman I feel us coming closer and closer. Savannah has always been my cheerleader and if I was upset I knew I could always count on her for a hug. I am so excited to have her here for this important moment of my life.
