Forever and Always

Taivon and I met through mutual friends on Instagram. I saw him in a photo with some other people I knew at school and I thought "oh he's super cute". I followed him and then he liked a few of my pictures, so I messaged him. The sparks flew instantly. We talked on and on for the next several days, then I went to visit him at work. When I told family about him they weren't so sure I should be dating at the time as I was really young and a lot was going on at the time, so I decided for my heart and his we should no longer talk. We didn't really talk for two years. But we kept running into each at school and I could always tell I wanted to be with him. We started talking again and would hangout sometimes after school. He sat with me at lunch everyday, walked me to all my classes, and even gave me rides home from school. We started dating and had been dating for two and a half years when he popped the question...

The whole week Taivon was telling me "On Sunday we are going somewhere, just get in the car, and I am going to blindfold you". I was very skeptical at first. But when Sunday rolled around I got dressed, got in the car, was blindfolded, and we went. Taivon took me to a very familiar place, Riverwalk, in Augusta. GA. We had been to Riverwalk many times before to eat, walk, and just to spend time together. Taivon guided me on the train tracks and then got down on one knee and asked to be his wife.
